General Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of organization and will have sufficient technical expertise to effectively prioritize and manage the fast-paced, digital printing workload. This individual must be committed to delivering top notch precision quality document reproduction, while maintaining on a tightly managed production schedule.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Able to review complex and diverse print orders and manage each print job from start to finish, including file preparation, printing, scanning, file management, using digital plan room tools, coordinating projects with other departments.

  • Maintaining strict document quality control procedures and taking ownership of each project you work on.

  • Changing paper rolls and toner and performing basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

  • Full understanding of measuring methods and devices, i.E. Calipers, tape measures, etc.

  • Adhering to our high level of customer deadlines.

  • Have strong communication etiquette.

  • Maintaining an organized, clean work environment.

  • Complies with all Identity Group policies and procedures

  • Maintains confidentiality of company and employee information

  • Performs other job functions as assigned by Lead or designee

  • Produce digital products to quality standards

  • Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Maintains accurate production records

  • Loads/unloads finished product from machine

  • Assists in other production areas as needed

Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge on Mutohs, Epson, Mimaki s, Graphtec, Acuity flatbed and or roll to roll printers.

  • Experience with digital plan room software including but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, Flexi, Color gate, Corel, Photoshop and Production House.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of preparing AI documents for print output, including file conversion, resizing documents, preparing PDF, Vector and TIFF files, and managing large construction documents.

  • Capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs. Throughout the day.

  • Experience operating digital printing and copying equipment without supervision.

  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing as you will be interacting directly with other department leads and supervisor to coordinate print projects.

  • Strong file management and organizational skills.

  • Operate digital print equipment to optimal production standards.

. Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED / Additional graphics training.

  • 1-2+ in equivalent work environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 70lbs.

  • Standing for long periods of time in one rea.

  • Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment.

  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.
