General Summary:

We are looking for a reliable Material Handler to help maintain stock and assist in fulfilling orders. Our Material Handler will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. Also sheeting and trimming vinyl material.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order.
Work closely with the inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis.
Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order.
Collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when product is missing in a delivery.
Sheet and trim required specifications per job and perform correct yield output.
Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and familiarity with the storage areas in order to be able to place or pull paper stock, signatures and materials in accordance with standard procedures.
Able to feed, stock, move, jog, arrange, unload and rotate items on/off sheeter and/or finishing equipment in accordance with operating instructions.
Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.
Basic skill in the use of manual dollies, carts or hand trucks and hand tools used in material handling tasks such as hammers, pliers, strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers and related equipment.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma / GED
1+ yr. In equivalent work environment.
5s / 6s Knowledge
Basic computers / Excel

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Perform work with speed and accuracy.
Extensive bending, twist, push, and pull, stoop and kneel.
Lift and/or carry minimum of 70 pounds.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.
